Kinect is an Xbox 360 peripheral that plugs into your Xbox 360’s USB port. It is essentially a camera, but not just any old camera. The camera uses infrared technology to see you and follow your body movements. This infrared coupled with some advanced software that will run on the 360, means that it will be able to track 48 points of your body in real time for up to two players simultaneously.
